TOUCH THE DRAGON

”This tour has been designed for visitors with very limited time who would like to see Bhutanese highlights in a quick and efficient way. A four day and three night program visits Thimphu and Paro valleys. Highlights include villages, temples, monasteries, gigantic fortresses, Buddhist heritage and culture, meeting people and observing the ancient old traditions of arts and crafts”

DAY 01 ARRIVE PARO (by Druk Air)
Fly to Paro on our national carrier, Druk Air. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong, (National Museum), Rinpung Dzong (ancient fortress) and Paro market. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.
DAY 02 PARO – THIMPHU
After breakfast visit Drukgyel Dzong (a ruined fortress), farm houses and 7th century Kyichu Lhakhang (temple). Following lunch proceed to Thimphu (capital city of Bhutan). Enroute visit Simtokha Dzong (the oldest fortress in Bhutan built in 1627. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 03 THIMPHU - PARO
Morning sightseeing of Thimphu valley includes, visit to National Library, Traditional Medicine Institute, Arts & Crafts School, Textile and Folk Heritage Museum, National Memorial Chorten, Zilukha Nunnery, Traditional paper factory, Takin mini Zoo, Handicrafts Emporium and local shops. Evening drive to Paro for overnight stay.
DAY 04 PARO DEPART (by Druk Air)
After early breakfast drive to the airport for flight to your onward destination.
