"This is a beautiful short, 3 day trek, traversing along a mountain path dividing the Haa and Paro valleys. The trek starts in Haa (bordering Sikkim and Tibet). It was first opened for tourists in 2004. People in Haa raise yaks and the staple crops are wheat, potatoes, barley and millet. On clear day one can get breathtaking panoramic 360 degree view towards Mt. Chomolhari (the second highest mountain in Bhutan), Mt. Jichu Drake, Mt. Tserim Kang, Mt. Gangkar Puensum (highest in Bhutan) and Mt. Kanchenjunga (third highest peak in the world). The trek also passes through meadows, forests of pine, juniper and rhododendrons.”
